Meet this six-week-old beauty called Bella. One day, she suddenly stopped walking.

Her owner, without hesitation, took her to the vet and told them to euthanize her.

Then she just turned around and left.

Luckily, the vet made the right decision…

He wondered why such a baby stopped walking so abruptly.

He ran a series of tests to find out the cause and contacted the founder of Hand In Paw Dog Rescue and Assistance Center, Paper Wood.

After conducting all the necessary tests, Paper learned that Bella was taken too early from her mother.

On the one hand, it was sad news, but on the other hand, the reason that the puppy could not walk became clear.

It was not paralysis, as everyone might have thought at first.

Bella had hypoglycemia.

The baby was simply poorly fed and the level of glucose in her blood dropped dramatically…

But Bella turned out to be a very strong girl.

Literally, after two hours of treatment, the baby was already standing on her paws on her own.

“Fatigue, loss of appetite, white gums are three warning signs that your pet has hypoglycemia,” says Wood.

So, people get pets, they don’t take care of them properly, and in case of some kind of illness, they are ready to euthanize them right there in order to get themselves a new one right away.

Luckily, Bella ended up in the hands of a good veterinarian, whose decision saved her life!
